British Rangers hooligans run riot...what about South Africa 2010? So Glasgow Rangers lost pathetically 2-0 in Manchester and then the fans rioted and ran like drunken animals through the street so that the riot police had to be turned against them. Is this the example of football we want brought to South Africa for the World Cup? PS Sorry Alf, I know you would like to say how inferior Bafana is, but scenes like this do not occur at Phefeni!!! LOL!!!! AMAKHOSI FOR LIFE ![]()

British Rangers hooligans run riot...what about South Africa 2010? I wish you could see what Mafikeng looked like on Monday after the Pirates game ! If that is what is to come ,we are going to have problems . Liquor bottles were scattered on all the roads ,in parkinglots and shopping centres ! Not even to mention what chaos there was in town as a result of people doing exactly like they wanted .

British Rangers hooligans run riot...what about South Africa 2010? Firstly there is no such team as Glasgow Rangers. It is Rangers Football Club. Secondly your version of events is grossly over exaggerated and not supported by any news reports. Facts are there were an estimated 175,000 Rangers fans in Manchester for the UEFA Cup Final. There was 1 stabbing, a clash with Police after a big screen broke down in a Fanzone and 6 arrests. Sky News reported that by far the majority were "well behaved and good natured." Now picture 175,000 Africoons gathered together drinking as is their wont with Bafana losing and you tell me the outcome. It would make World headlines so dont talk pish. Indidentally the Rangers Trust are well aware of the violent crime situation in South Africa and should Scotland qualify for 2010 then they will be issuing a travel warning to any supporter stupid enough to go - just like the US,UK,Canada,Australia,New Zealand,Kenya,Nigeria etc.

British Rangers hooligans run riot...what about South Africa 2010? You've never been to a Rangers match have you? I did, several times actually. I can tell you now, a lot of the 'riots' are made up by the English press to belittle Scottish football. 1 person died out of 60000 people. By the way, PSL is junk compared to English Soccer
