I think that is 32 and no, I haven´t checked how many teams come from which part of the world. It's just a guess. I dare say I will be wrong on a few. It's a bit early for this question though as it's difficult to gage how good some of these will be in their respective qualifiers (apart from Italy and South Africa of course who go automatically).

So if I'm right then it's going to be a familiar look, only Venezuela out of that 32 have never qualified before. (Serbia are considered to be the same FA as Serbia & Montenegro and Yugoslavia post-1992 before that, so have been to World Cups already).
