Yes! These matters are being resolved and there has been no attacks in the last week. It's over. There better be a World Cup here we are not paying such high taxes and other costs for nothing. This country has spent too much on this event to lose it all.

Hey bro im not sure and i live in south africa. right now the country is going through major issues like xenephobia, power cuts and corruption. I know those a re not th credentials for a country hosting the biggest event in the world. But, or officials within or organizing committee and in the government have assured us that things will go out. With regards to powers cuts the staduims will not run on the city's power grid they will have their own generators. With regards to the xenephobia the army will come in and try to control the issue.

These xenephobic attacks where not against all foriegn people. WHat you must understand is that the South African people where offered houses by the government as a sort of subsidy. But, foriengers came in and they bought houses of corrupt government officals and some South Africans where selling there houses for money and they decided to live in shaks and have the money the money the got from the sell. So when other South Africans found out that foriegners where getting houses that they where promised they where really hacked off. And they did something really stupid. Because not they have displaced many people and something like this can lead to crime.

But, the government sortd the issue out and right now the attacks on foriengers have died down. but I do thin you have a point because these guys are gonna see all these foringers with money watching the games. And, they will think why do these guys get to watch and not me (this is actually how they think)? They might attack.

But I think it will be sorted out what you have to undersand is their was underlining issues to why they attacked these foriengers
