Brazil. What happened?

Quite frankly, I still believe Brazil to be Brazil. An unbelievable team capable of just about anything at any time. Saying that though, I am not surprised they did not win. Yes they are the most talented team, but they have been over hyped.

I agree. Brazil is still the most talented team, but they were put on too high an pedalstal. Not good to do that. THey are human like the rest of us. Personally, although I love the team, I think it was best for football to not have Brazil there again.

I tell you. Brazil is too much overrate. Very good, but too much yappa yappa by news. Not nice.

You m ay be onto something Forza if I undrstood you. I think they are very talented, but were put so far up the ladder, that people forgot they are human. They really are good though.

They are good guys, probably the most talented team in the world, but I don't think they are necessarily the best. Certainly amonst the best, but any top flight team has a chance to take them. You can't just kick the ball around when you possess it. Look at Greece during the Confederations Cup, lots of possetion, but not creativity when they played Brazil. The Brazilians were on fire that day and bang, a very well deserved 3-0 victory. The game against Argentina, an amazingly talent team, and bang, they took them too. Now against France, the French didn't just play with the ball (like Greece played with their balls, sorry my Greek friends), they created and zidane slayed them. So there you have it, Brazil can kill any team at any time, but don't bet the farm against them as they are not invincible.

I believe that they are extremely good, but the rise in parity around the world means that teams like Brazil will have to work even harder to win, and not just from the traditional powers. Look at Africa and Asia. Some great times rising there.
