Yes, the best national team to ever play our beautiful game has been chosen to host the 2014 World Cup.

How many stadia have they got at present which would be worthy of hosting a match and will they use the Maracana for the final or will they build a new venue????
By the way .... Im English not Brazilian!!

Typical arrogance from a brazilian.. and then they say argentinians are the most arrogants... lol.

They have many stadiums, and they'll use the "legendary" Maracana for the final...

Maracanã,95,000 seater stadium, will most likely hold the final.

Brasil has issues to confront now that they have been given the 2014 World Cup bid.

Infrastructure, revamping pretty much all of their stadiums, transportation, controlling street violence is all of many things they have to confront.

They have 6 years and I am sure they will do their best to accomplish their feat.
I am just glad to see the World Cup being hosted in South America again. 1976 was the last time a South American country hosted the WC......1986 was supposed to be hosted by my home nation of Colombia but we had to give up the rights after ongoing internal issues, hence giving the hosting rights to Mexico.
