Who will host the World Cup in 2014?

Who has bids placed and who is most likely to get it? Also, IF the US has a bid and if they win it (which I doubt) where will it be held?

The 2014 FIFA World Cup will be the 20th FIFA World Cup, and will be held in Brazil. It was scheduled to take place in South America and Brazil was selected to host the competition on 30 October 2007 as the only country to put in a bid.

FIFA has annouced on 30 October 2007 that BRAZIL will be hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals. this is the second time that BRAZIL is hosting the FIFA World Cup finals as they have also hosted the tournament in 1950 where they finish as runners-up to URUGUAY.

FIFA has also warned BRAZIL that they could be stripped of the host nation job if they failed to upgrade their stadiums & other infrascructure such as security & transportations.
