What do you think about the competition between Oswaldo and Ochoa?

Well I was watching the America vs. Toluca game yesterday and they said that Ochoa sees himself as the starter for the World Cup in 2010. They also said that Oswaldo said that he sees himself there too because he has "experience". I think Oswaldo is selfish he already had his time and it has passed,the only thing he says is that he has xxperience and that puts him on top of Ochoa. Well I think that's bull, he may have the experience that he acquired throughout his years but it has come at the price, he is already old and has lost some of his reflexes. Have you guys him play in the SuperLiga? he hasn't been playing as good and Chucho put him in the starter spot it's because he was Champion with Santos. Ochoa has cat-like reflexes and he's young and shows unlimited potential. He has been playing as a starter since he was 19 and if you compare that to Oswaldo who started playing at a first class level when he was around 29 so to me there is no comparison.

i agree with u....they are both good goalies but its ochoas time now and i see him starting in the world cup......by that time oswaldo would be too old

how much more experience does Ochoa need?I'm sick of the so called experts using that against Ochoa,hes been at the top of the throne on one of the most important teams in the world.Oswald has the wrong kind of experience for what Mexico is trying to do,hes got experience losing in the big games.Oswald is third behind Michel and at the top is Ochoa.the reason Ochoa isn't gone to Europe is because America wants like 10 million for him,the France starter just went to athletico for like 3 million.

dont get it twisted, i tihink ochoa will be mexico greatest keeper ever, but...

ochoa dose make some simple mistakes and sometimes makes save's harder than they should be.
you being a ochoa fan (as i can see) knows that also, oswaldo on the other hand was a great keeper when he was younger, so please dont start bashing oswaldo because you like ochoa better.

i also think it is time for ochoa to be the number one keeper also, but like i said, dont bash the other option,
also i think mexico should keep oswaldo as the second string keeper, he is still better than all the other mexican keepers(besides ochoa)

chucho did what he did because,
on a scale of 1- 10 ten being the keeper will give you a perfect game and stop everything,
oswaldo will give you a 7 no matter what. on the other hand, ochoa will vary- like when he played brazil he was a 10. but when he played the usa he was a 5 or 6.

chucho didnt want to take a chance and end up giving ochoa the start on one of his bad game days.

first of all ochoa started when he was 18, secondly if oswaldo prepares himself and the national coach puts him as starter we should respect that. i do not think oswaldo is selfish, he is just working hard to get the place and if he gets it is because he has gain it, life dont come easy and you wont be given nothing in this world. if ochoa wants that position, he needs to show he deserves it, if i was oswaldo i'll be doing the same thing. why give up an opportunity of being a starter just because you already participated and because ochoa is younger heck no. i say whoever wants that position should fight for it, if 8a wants it he has to gain it by merit not just by popularity.

obviously players have their ups and downs, but i think that it is good that they are battling for starting, it makes them better. Ochoa would obviously be starting in the WC 2010, and with Michel being a beast in the Superliga,this
will make the Goalkeepers become better while battling for a spot.

I think they're both GREAT keepers but I would still go with Oswaldo because of the experience. Seems Memo still looks nervous out there sometimes.
