hmm... they were impressive in Euro 2008. The Turks always seem to strike lucky at major tournaments. WC02 and Euro 08 are two prime examples... well maybe not before WC02 but they have grown as a football nation and have a shot of winning WC'10

Lousy team? I guess somebody missed EURO 2008.

I think they will have a good chance to finish in the Last 8 and maybe even place 3rd again, but of course teams have to qualify. It will be very difficult for anyone to beat an Italian team led by Lippi.

There are several prospects, such as Nuri Sahin and Caner Erkin, as well as established stars such as Arda Turan and Nihat.
