Burley has inherited one of the best teams we have had in a long time,

I am very hopeful that Scotland can progress this time, although it is no mean feat.
The country seems to be getting behind the team much more and there are real positive vibes about our recent improvement.

We can do it with a bit of luck, Burley sticking to our strengths and most importantly, our defence not gifting the opposition daft goals that we did against Georgia and Italy when we were caught ball watching.
I doubt if we'll win the group but you never know in football. Failing that, we can qualify given a reasonable home and away.play-off tie.

With some good fortune in the way of dodging injuries and getting decent officiating, I think Scotland has an excellent chance of qualifying for the 2010 finals.

I'm expecting the playoff spot at very least, wouldn't be Scotland if we done it the easy way though so I'm thinkin 2nd (behind the dutch)

to be honest, i love scottish football and the national team, but im a little fed up of getting all the hype and hope, for us all to feel suicidle at the end of it all, so il concede it now
