because it's in south africa..very VERY HOT!!AND WE KNOW OUR ENLISH PLAYERS JUST CANNOT PLAY IN THE HEAT..cast your minds back to brazil in 2002.. and every game in WC 2006. it takes too much out of our players and until the world cup is held in england we dont have a chance. i don't know why the media havent caught onto this yet..i'm not saying this is the only reason..but its a big reason why.

By the time 2010 comes round i think we will have a new manager hopefully someone with experience, i personally thought Sven did a good job, but Maclaren is awful. Maybe Mourinho because he won't take any cr*p and set our players straight which is what we need. Rooney will be in his prime and i think Theo Walcott could be very good by then, so too with Agbonlahor. Scott Carson in goal, Micah Richards looks great also. Lennon, Shaun Wright Phillips, Gerrard, J. Cole, they should all be good enough by then to win the World Cup. Just look at Italy they did it and they were averaging about 30. Experience is key.

I dont care what anybody says about england i was very proud of them after the portugal game in the world cup last year.Owen hargreaves in particular had the heart of a lion he just wouldnt stop running.Even if a player is used to the extreme heat they are only human and will still get exhausted just like an england play.Its all about which team has the most heart not which team is used to the extreme heat .

these are professionally trained athletes so they should be able to compete in any environment,
i think what worrys me more, is the pitiful excuse for a world cup 06', and the probability that we will not qualify for euro 08'.
