Questions about the World Cup in South Africa, first of all What time is it over there and how many hours of difference is it from the United States in particular what is the diffrence between what time it is in South Africa right now and the time that it currently is in the Eastern Time Zone in the US, for example it is 8:20 right now here in Miami Florida, so what time is it now in South Africa, how many hours of diffrence? Thats a great piece of information ive been trying to look for that info in various sites but could not find it, its only 2007 and the Copa America was great, not because of where it was played because i think its a disgrace it was held in communist venezuela, but the caliber of the games played and the uprising of many teams my native Peru being one of them, and hope that with a coaching change to our squad and a few of our better players being called up we make a good run for a chance to make it to the world cup

the qualifying matches for the 2010 FIFA World Cup will begin in February 2008 for most confederations, except for the CONMEBOL which is in South America. the qualifying matches in South America will begin on 13 October 2007 & the format of qualifying remains the same as in 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where all 10 South American teams play each other, home & away.

as for the other confederations, the draw for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches will be made in Durban, South Africa on 25 November 2007.
