Will the World Cup in 2010 take place in South Africa?

I'm starting to have my doubts. I don't feel the country is in a position to have it ready in time. It's disorganised and underfunded. They're having to build the majority of stadiums from scratch, and these need to be to a world class standard, can they really do this in 3 years?

Also, South Africa has virtually no public transport, and with many foreign visitors to the games, public transport is gonna be a nessesity. Can South Africa really build a sufficent transport method in 3 years across various cities,.. only time will tell.

At the moment, I don't feel South Africa has the infrastructure to host these games, and I think it's gonna be an immensily difficult task to build the infrastructure in 3 years. I think they should have gone with one of the North Africa nations to host the games, they have the funds and the infrastructure.
