City awarded UEFA Cup place,WOW thats got 2 be good for ???

Manchester City have been awarded a place in next season's UEFA Cup through the Fair Play league.
England were one of the countries given an extra berth in the competition thanks to their good disciplinary record.

Although City were only fifth in the Premier League Fair Play table, the four sides above them - Tottenham, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal - had already qualified for Europe.

Despite a disastrous final day of the season that saw captain Richard Dunne sent off in an 8-1 humbing at Middlesbrough, and clashes between City fans and police, they maintained their position ahead of Fulham.

Sorry, but I“m not sure I got your question. I guess for Man City it is great and I reckon Fulham will be a bit gutted that they didn“t get an extra gift of UEFA football to go with staving off relegation. I think Man City were class this season and what is currently going on in the club is pretty bad. Shinawatra is an absolute plonker and should not be touched (though if the metaphorical barge pole is heading towards him very very quickly, then I guess it wouldn“t be too bad). If he is not careful, his ignorance, arrogance and general corrupt, autocratic nature may see Man City have barely any kind of team next year, let alone one that will actually compete in Europe's second tier. But good on Man City, they brought in a class manager with some class players and though they may not have won UEFA status through results on the pitch, they got in by the back door which I think on balance they probably deserved. I just hope that idiot for a chairman doesn“t ruin them before.
