UEFA League This June?

ESPN is advertising a UEFA League that starts this June. This leaves my kind of confused. I just saw the UEFA league final between Manchester United and Chelsea a few weeks ago. Are they starting another season right away or is this a different UEFA league? Is this like a World Cup for only European countries or what is it, and how does this league work?

this competition is open to the club in Europe nation like England, Italy, Spain, France and others nation. 16 club are involved and play in 8 groups. England clubs are strongest because have many import player especially from African. it starts play from august until may next year.

UEFA Champions League was the one with United-Chelsea. This is for club teams from around Europe such as Manchester United, Barcelona, Milan and Liverpool. This ran from September 2007 to May 2008, and will do so again next year and so on.

UEFA European Championships 2008 runs in June (from the 7-29th) and involves countries from Europe such as Portugal, Spain, France and Italy. This tournament only occurs every 4 years (like the World Cup).
