I assume you are talking about players who are currently playing. For England, it has to be Crouch. He is totally underrated, and is actually the only one who can reproduce his club form for country. For Italy it has to be Andrea Pirlo. He dictates the game, confident on the ball, and hardly makes a wrong move. Zinedine Zidane for France. (I know he has retired, however, during the world cup, his performance was tops. Germany's best player has to be Podolski, he is already one of the best in the team, and has still a long way to go before he reaches his peak. For Brazil, Kaka. Spain, Fernando Torres, and for Argentina Lionel Messi.
