Brazil: the best soccer team in the world?

Can anyone doubt this after they thrashed Argentina 3-0 in the final of the Americas Cup on Sunday?

I don't know if they are the best in the world but they are wonderful to watch and so fast.

Given their long and rich history, and the results, it's tough to argue against Brazil. And that was a very convincing win over an outstanding team.

But to actually watch for me it's Brazil.

Not the BEST in the world since they did not win the last World Cup, but for sure one of the best and one of the top teams in the world.































No doubt though that right now they are better than Argentina. They did beat them without their stars and by a big margin.

I think they have the best talent all-around. However, it's difficult to put a bunch of all stars on one team such as in the WC. I know I am looking ahead but I think Brasil will leave some of their superstars for the 2010 WC and take some role players as they did in the Copa America.































I know it's a different sport but look at the USA basketball team. Too many stars only one ball. Lost in the World Championships.































If the coach finds the right chemistry, work ethic and defense from players in the 2010 squad they will win and be number one again.































In my opinion for now it's Italy (World Cup, UEFA - AC Milan)...I know they have some INT players on Milan but they won.

Yes Brazil is the best team. They have been for consistent for the past 50 years and even though they only made it to the quarter finals in this World Cup, they still had been in three consecutive finals before that.































Beating Argentina was also a proof of their greatness, even though they were missing some key players and they have a horrible coach that did not even use properly the players he had at hand.
