Because he wanted to give more experience to the rest of the players especially youth.

Kaka and Ronaldinho asked to not be called because they haven't had a break in three years: 2004-Copa America, 2005-Confederations Cup and 2006-World Cup. So they needed a break. Others like Adriano and Ronaldo were simply left out. And some other players injured themselves, JÃºlio CÃ©sar and Fred. But without many of his star players, Dunga, can now look for some new young talents.
