Has Alex McLeish Ressurected Scottish Footall?

Alex McLeish has changed the way Scottish football is payed and how they view themselves. Scots are now fiercely proud of the national squad instead of quitely embarrassed to see themselves bounced out of every major competition.

Thank you Mr. McLeish for making us proud and competitive again.

I think Mr. McLeish has al ot to do wiht it. Like Greece, scotland had footbalers, but needed someone to help piece it all together. Like a captain to help sail a amazing boat. It won't do anything if he captain has o idea waht to do.

I think the succes of you Greeks in 2004 helped motivate us as well. No reason a small country can't do it.

I think you have to give as much credit to McLeish as Walter Smith, Smith gave the side the 'kick up the arse' it needed after Berti Vogts disasterous(sp?) time in charge. I must admit when Smith left to go back to the Gers I wasn't confident Big 'Eck would do well with the National team. However I am ECKstatic that i was wrong. I think had Scotland had been in any other of the groups we would have qualified by now. I mean not many teams get 24 pts and don't qualify... just shows you how tough a group we're in.

No matter what happens in the Italy game, Scotland can be proud of how they have done in this campaign, i mean who thought we'd beat France once? never mind twice!
