Real Madrid Club de Fútbol Real Madrid Club de Fútbol is a Spanish sports club best known for its football team which was ranked as 'The 20th Century's Best Club' by FIFA. During its history, the club has acquired a number of nicknames. Among the earliest were los merengues, after the white dessert meringue and los blancos. Both simply referred to the club's legendary all-white strip and are the most common to this day. This is only a guess on my part, but the they he was quoted on tv made it look lkie he wanted to. If so, that is if of course, is the 100million pounds really the transfer fee? That's a lot of quid.

You are right my friend. I think it will likely happen. That kind of money is staggering to think of. Kind of distracting for Man United, then again, England are not at the Euro, not that many of them are English anyway.

We'll see what happens. Ronaldo might trump us all and stay in Manchester, or he may go play for Real in Spain. Either way, this will be interesting. But I think the 100 million pounds is just overdoing it.

No doubt he wants to go, but will Fergie let him. I wouldn't mess with the old Scottish bastard. He is of a tough old breed. If Ronaldo goes, it is b/c Fergie let him.
