Drugs in Football

Just wondering if there is a drug problem in football like in other sports? Recreational and performance enhancing.

of course, although not published but Footballers are the same as any other young person who is famous with to much money, the clubs just cover it well and when they don't they miss their drugs tests (rio) or get caught (Mutu)

I have to agree. It is totally our there. Recreational and performance enhancing drugs. Just a fact of life. People pretend it isn't a part of culture, but it is.

The modern era does have many demons in its "culture" Materazzi. I would say it was cultured, that's for sure, but it is part of life sports life at these high levels today.
