Victor Munoz is the new Panathinaikos Coach

Former Real Zaragoza coach Victor Munoz is set to become the new coach of Greek side Panathinaikos on Monday.

Munoz will reportedly sign a deal which will be worth 600,000 euros (around £400,000) that will tie him to the club for at least six months but that will include an option for the contract to be extended by a further season.

The former Spain international - who won the Supercopa de Espana and Copa del Rey as coach of Real Zaragoza in 2004 - will be the 18th coach of Panathinaikos in the last 10 years.

I see this working well. Sure the Greeks are realted to northern Europeans, but your comment about the southern Euro lifestyle may be to our advantage. After all, we are definately realated to southern Europeans as well. No doubt. Even the crazy Spaniards and their wonderful football.
