Sanli Tuncay for Olympiakos?? Olympiakos put an offer for Turkish international midfielder Sanli Tuncay. This is according to Tuncay's agent which brushed Inter Milan's interest and has revealed more details.
"Olympiakos have put an official offer on the table for Tuncay. This is the only official offer we have from a club. Next week I will visit Greece to hold talks about my client. I have not had any contact with Inter and I am not aware of any interest from the Italian club," said Erdini Sehis in an interview with Turkish news paper "Sabah".
Tuncay, a 25 year-old midfielder impressed Olympiakos officials during the EURO 2008 qualifier between Greece and Turkey at Athens' Karaiskaki stadium. Tuncay scored his team's first goal (Video: 1-1) against Greece and it is not at all impossible that Olympiakos are after the player.
Tuncay has been playing for Turkish side Fenerbahce since 2002 and will be a free agent this coming summer. He recently declined a contract renewal offer from Fenerbahce and his transfer fee is upwards to 2 million euros. |
