Kapsis Wants to leave

Greek champions Olympiakos and Greek international defender Michalis Kapsis met for a third day in a row to discuss the player's release from the club. It is rumored that Kapsis will meet with PAE Olympiakos vice-president Giorgos Louvaris on Thursday to continue negotiations as the Olympiakos defender is not keen on breaking his contract without being paid out the full amount owed to him.

Will he retire? Go to a smaller club? He hasn't been the same since his last big injury after Euro 2004. I would love to see him come back to AEK to finish his career, although he would be a bench player...

Most likely he will end in a smaller club of the Superleague.

Yeah I see that happening too. Kind of like Dabizas went to Larisa a few years ago and became THE MAN there.

I guess he wanted to be part of a winner. APOEL is always among the top teams in Cyprus. Although that league is obviously not as good as the Greek league...

I've never been to Cyprus but I heard it's gorgeous.

Cyprus gorgeous as a place, but in football they not developed. Still Kapsis will have the oppurtunity to play in UEFA cup with APOEL, something that would be very difficult if he would end to a Greek club like Ionikos or Ergotelis.
