| Rivaldo scored two goals in four minutes Saturday as Olympiakos rallied to beat Aris 3-2 and retain its lead in the Greek league.
Aris took the lead in the 30th minute when Rubina Palazuelos headed the ball to Spanish striker Sergio Koke into and he scored from close range. Koke struck again in the 44th from inside the box.
Rivaldo made it 2-1 in the 62nd. Three minutes later, he scored with a free kick from outside the box.
Olympiakos substitute Nery Castillo netted the winner in the 81st.
Olympiakos has 27 points, three ahead of AEK Athens, which beat visiting Kerkyra 4-1. Panathinaikos, which plays at Atromitos on Sunday, is third with 22 points.
At the Olympic stadium, Kerkyra led after two minutes through Gustavo Nakarato's curling free kick.
AEK scored two goals within seven minutes through Julio Cesar and Nikos Lymberopoulos, before Gustavo Manduka added another in the 41st. In the 48th, Lymberopoulos scored his second goal. |
