The Galaxy are holding open tryouts in February. A little bush league??? Yeah I think so. Can you see the Lakers scouting guys at the local L.A. YMCA to find guys to play alongside Kobe? Haha.

More proof that soccer in America has a ways to go...

Yeah she's pretty hot, but she's a little too skinny for sure.

Beckham's character fits with the USA. He is going to have a great career there (I don't mean as a footballer of course).

THe interesting part that everyone is not really talking about is how effective is Beckham going to be in the MLS?

Is he really going to be the most dominant player in the league? Is his goal total going to be higher than it was in Europe? Will he lead the league in goals or assists? Or is he going to be one of the best players but not THE best?

who is currently the BEST player in the MLS? Donovan? Adu? these guys are barely even adequate compared to soccer...I would say Beckham is one of the best in the MLS...i think he will rally a lot of goals as well as a lot of helpers....the MLS is in dire need of attention (the league is perceived as a joke) and talent...

Dwayne DeRosario is probably better than those two. Donovan went to Europe and was a complete failure there. He came running back so fast.

Taylor Twellman is another guy who is among the best. Pat Onstad was the best keeper for a while, now it's probably Matt Reis or John Conway.
