retired soccer player could coach a university soccer team, teach soccer in P.E. classes, or put up a soccer clinic for kids/teens.. or put up a small business if he doesn't want to play soccer anymore.

I think the best thing for a pro footballer to do is to either manage or Coach a team

BTW i dont think Ronaldo is goin to be happy with only his million dollors....he wants to be rich...Really rich..

If i was a pro fooball player i would help develope football in the parts of the world where people want to play football but can't do due to their poverty..

then they can manage a club or coach...

some also set up academies or invest in stuff etc.
