Why football(soccer) fans should not insult mls?

i consider all those ppl dissing the mls not true soccer fans. Why? The owners of the MLS are trying their best to establish the beautiful game once again here in America. Insulting the MLS is an insult to soccer since ppl that do get in the way of the MLS are basically preventing the growth of such a great sport.

i do admit that the MLS may not match leagues like those in Europe but chill everyone cuz the MLS has only been around for like 11 years or so!!! So instead of dissing MLS you ppl should instead show that you are true soccer fans and support the growing MLS and the growing sport of soccer
as ronaldihno said of the soccer on the US,
"They are on the right path and I believe in the future it's a country that's going to have a soccer with a very high level," he said

Insulting players, questioning coaches, second guessing your clubs decisions are an integral part of Football! You hear it from the fans of all the Great Leagues - EPL, La Liga, Serie A, etc. I think that rather than look at it as insult....you should look at the glass as half full......we certainly have come a long way toward the great leagues - in the sense of being critical.

That is a trait of true fans....the MLS is getting somewhere now.

No, my friend (see above). You are wrong because these are not fans who are making valid critiques. Most of them are just interested in bashing MLS with meaningless phrases, such as "MLS sucks". And that is basically all they say. MLS is a great league. We aren't talking about the NASL here.

The more talk generated about your league, your sport, the better it is for it. Positive or negative, it shows that people care and more people are having an actual opinion, not the "oh I'd rather watch poker on tv than MLS" rant.

I agree. In the future MLS could become the greatest thing soccer has ever seen, but people dismissing it aren't going to be of any help. Leave MLS to the true fans, and it will all work out.

yes- given time to grow the mls will become a great league. People in Europe bash the mls even though 99% of them HAVE NEVER SEEN A GAME. It is played at a terrific speed and the players' skill is catching up fast. I think the europeans are scared of just how good america and its league could become if soccer becomes popular here.
