Clint was my idol, he was the only U. S. player to aculay score in the world cup the revs were paying him top notch and he was considerd a god i guess it was the whole big fish little pond or little fish big pond, he was beloved by all new england even more so than alexi Lalas ( who was phenonamal) so if you know than tell me please

He left so that he could grow as a player. The competition in the EPL is a lot better as is the pay. He was definitely a big fish in a small pond. Why would someone continue to play AAA baseball if he could get a job in the Major Leagues?
