MLS. Is the quality decent?

Have you guys read Alexi Lalas' interview re to MLS and Backham? He suggested MLS is up to par w/ English Premiership, Serie A, etc...WHAT IS THIS GUY SMOKING????

ya idk wat lalas is thinking. MLS' quality is not even close to EPL's. the MLS players touches are way worse, their passes are not good, plus its not as popular so quality players are hard to find. In 5-10 i think the players will get better and more ppl will like football

mm no, MLS cannot possibly be compared to the premier league, no way!

obviously the players in the MLS are nowhere near the skill level of those in Europe and other continents, but soccer is soccer (and football is football). if you enjoy watching european soccer and were watching an MLS game without knowing that the teams were American, you probably wouldnt mind (or maybe notice) the difference.
