Diouf was better than Duff

And Kewell was even better.

Bad luck to lose today, but we were easily the better side.

Diouf will run riot this season, mark my words! And anyone who still
thinks Kewell should stay on the left wing needs their head testing.
He was everywhere today and long may it continue.

Kewell should be wherever the ball is!

I don't think Diouf was better than Duff, but Diouf was exciting to watch

Not for long periods of the second half. Easily? Not at any point. We
were better for most of the first half and parts of the second. We didn't
look bad really. Cheyrou wasn't great by any stretch but did you see that
FANTASTIC shot pass he made to the right side of the penalty area? What
balls... It was amazing. Any midfielder in the world would have been hard
pressed to make that pass.


I hope he does . Kewell? He was mobile, but he really made his biggest
impacts on the wings.

Kewell was by far your best player and certainly will be for the rest of the

I would agree that it was bad luck to lose today also, but I wouldn't say
your boys were the better side though. A draw would have been a fair result
and I would have been happy with that!


When Diouf came on he certainly did open the game up and was hell of a
threat!

Thing is Oscar you have to admit we didn't play too badly today and Veron
played better than he did at Man Utd even with the boo boys on his back!

It was a tough call today and with your injuries and our new boys it didn't
make a classic match that was hoped for!

I think us missing Hamann and Gerrard showed big time. Today was a
huge responsibility for Igor and Platini. They didn't do too badly but
we were lacking authority. I didn't like seeing Veron get so much of
the ball and neither did anyone else on the Kop.


He needs to float. He supports wing play well, whether it is him on
the wing or whether he is the runner. His performance was well up to
par.


I don't think you can regiment him, "Free the Kewell!"
