Yes thats the answer Houllier
Move our main targetman to the right of midfield .... leave the ineffective
and totally marked out Owen up front, leave Kewell where ever it is exactly
that hes meant to be playing....
Okay so this wasnt a Pre-season game... am I allowed to complain now...or do
we have to wait until the end of the season when we finish 6th before we're
allowed to express our concern that our manager hasnt got a clue.

You can complain if you want. I'm sure there will be many posts on here in
the next 24 hours that call for Houllier's head.

I won't be one of them.

We didn't play badly, on another day that performance would have won us many
games.

I don't think the positions of the front players can be criticised at all on
this occasion. Heskey whipped an excellent cross in from out wide right
which Baros should have reacted better to. Diouf looked superb down left and
then right. Kewell was in the game from start to finish and was unlucky not
to have had a goal to his credit.

Houllier made the right substitutions during the game. Any fool could see
Cheyrou should have been replaced early 2nd half. Then to put on an
attacking right back and replace a holding midfield player with another
striker were moves which saw us press further on and gain a few chances late
on.

I can't fault Houllier or the players in general for actions taken during
the match.

Steve

We haven't got a fuckin clue how to attack or control a ball, it amazes me.

We started off well, then we just began the usual "boot the cunting ball
anywhere and hope some fucker gets lucky".

I dont think many genuinely expected us to win today, we looked better than
i thought we would though.

I think everyones agreed on giving GH one more season.

It was sad to see. 5 minutes of passing, followed by a shitload of hoofing.
To be fair, the hoofing was somewhat effective, but not nearly as effective
as the old passing Liverpool team I used to watch in the mid 90's (and yes,
I know we didn't win any championships then.) If we could only have these
same players keeping the ball on the pitch... Sigh...

If "any fool" could see the substitutions to be made, then WTF do we need
Houllier for?

Houllier as a manager is only a "problem solver" for our defensive
frailties, and that has been more or less done over the past few seasons.

Other than that, he has nothing to offer - he is not the sort of visionary
manager with a clear direction of where he wants to bring the team, just
tinkering with the team and adapting to different opponents tactically
that's all. Although one would be stupid not to adapt to opponents, what's
bad is that he's been doing purely that and nothing else, no direction of
where he wants to take the team in terms of style of play. In short, not
taking the game to our opponents, not believing in the strengths of the
team, which is - a strong defence, a good midfield, and a world-class
striker in Michael Owen. It seems he only wants the team to defend.

FUCK OFF HOULLIER!!!
