Do you think it might cost us some during the course of the season, assuming
we hold on for the win here for the next 2 minutes?

The facts above belong to everybody; the opinions to me; the
distinction is yours to draw.

Hopefully not. From his pre-season performances, Heskey is finishing
extremely well. Forget who the opposition have been, the fact is that
Heskey is putting away most of the chances which come his way,
something which wasn't often the case last season when he was missed
far too many chances when he should have been putting the ball in the
net.
Pressure will be on a few players to perform this season and even
though I think Owen could be set for a fantastic season, I don't think
we'll rely on his goals as often as we may have done last season,
particulalry during games in which others weren't exactly firing on
all cylinders in front of goal.
We'll probably still have games were the opposition keeper plays a
blinder, and there's little you can do when the finishing is decent
enough but everything just seems to be bouncing off the keeper, but I
doubt there'll be as many games as there were last year when our
finishing end up costing us points.
