I saw the lad biscan play this role for croatia once, he looked
superhuman....

to be honest I just feel the lad lacks confidence.

Great news!! I'm looking forward to seeing him challenge a couple of
players for their place.

He's served his time in the reserves without complaint and for that, imo, he
deserves full support. Let's hope he acquits himself well!

It was kinda mad Saturday,PT went hoarse shouting at the lads and much
of it positional wise to Igor,you saw the .tv stream of the match
though right?Reffering to his sublime,Zidane like trickery.
At one point btw PT shouted,in the last 20 mins-"come on Liverpool-it
will come".
Bizarre to hear that really,it was like a comment from a fan,if you
follow my drift.
Jimmy might be able to verify the PT thing with Igor as we were both
sat right by the dugout.
It definitely seems to be a case of mind over matter for Igor though
and I think GH did the right thing letting him know early he'll be
expecting a performance from him on Sunday.

Yeah, I've watched the match 3 times in its entirety now. Big Igor looked
strong. Everytime I've watched it I've come away with the feeling that
actually we played well and it we should have won.

The only negative thing I really took from the match was the way Kewell
reacted before the first Valencia goal. His player burned him and when he
realized that, he just let himself jog on by. If he had stopped dead, the
Valencia player would not have been able to touch it towards his left and
taken the left footed shot. That would have made his shot MUCH tougher. I
see that shit every Sunday when our team plays. Somebody gets burned and I
have to haul ass back and pick up the guy they just decided "oh, shit, I
can't catch him anyhow, let someone else catch him..." They have the EXACT
same reaction that Kewell did when he got burned. Pissed me right off!
