Silent post to pay respect to Lesley Manyathela - RIP

Black South African footballer. Only 21 the poor thing. Died in a car
crash yesterday.

Just thought I'd bring it up like, as nobody else had mentioned it. Thought
it might be relevant in a footie ng 'n' stuff.

Feel free to join me in grieving the loss of this fine, albeit black,
talent.

I just thought maybe that was the reason he hadn't been mentioned like,
whereas the young Utd kid was getting rave reviews from all over the place.

Perhaps you know of another reason for this peculiar silence? It seemed
strange to me that so many sensitive and well-meaning people could have
overlooked the death of a 21 year old black footballer in a car crash
yesterday and yet fly into a rage over the death of a 21 year old ManU
reserve in a car crash yesterday.

Strange.

77 people tagged the Davis post to show their respect to the dead and
nobody's yet tagged this one.

Oh well, I'll raise a glass to you Lesley you black bollox you!!! Three
cheers to you in heaven lad and my apologies on behalf of all the UK
football newsgroups that your colour meant you wouldn't be getting the kind
of eulogies we reserve for our well-paid white footballers back home in the
British Isles!

Say hello to God for me lad!!

Maybe because the spirit of your post is very plain. If you believe you can
score points in some stupid argument on the back of the death of a young
footballer then you are an even bigger idiot than you already appear. If I
was a Liverpool fan I'd actually be ashamed of you, however, I know most
reds would be just as sickened by you, so they dont need to be. Now please
just go away

What a fucking moron you are. You try to score points through the death of a
footballer and you find it neceessary to mention that Jimmy Davis was a
"reserve". It doesn't matter what he was, he died in tragic circumstances as
did Lesley Manyathela. I claim ignorance in that I have never heard of him
but that doesn't make it any less tragic. Have a look at your original post
again and see what a TWAT you come across as. People like you are pathetic.
Genuine people like the Liverpool and Arsenal supporters who have posted
messages of condolences regarding Jimmy Davis had probably never heard of
him but still found the time and common decency to do so. On the other hand
we have a wanker like you who tries to score points by claiming that another
footballers death was overlooked because he was black or didn't play for Man
United. GROW UP YOU CRETIN

och I don't know about that Billy! I think if I were to die tragically
tomorrow, I'd much prefer a good old rousing Irish wake to send me off than
have 70 or 80 "friends" standing around dressed in black giving me a
"minute's" silence, their faces as long and morose as a winter's night.

In fact I don't think I could stomach that kind of "respect."

But there you go eh Billy! Each to his own!

It happened in South Africa, fool. That's why it has not hit the headlines.
Foe was black, and he got mentioned a lot more than Davie, because he had
played in the UK.

Your comments don't alter the fact that you try to score points over the
death of someone linked to a club you dislike and yet you "claim" to be
concerned about the deaths of innocent people the world over. All I can say
is BOLLOCKS, you haven't got a careing bone in your body, you're just
another snivelling little fuckwit without a brain
