The Option!!! What is this! I agree with you totally but why stop there shouldn't it apply to EVERY fan that spits or assaults/abuses a player?? Not just Liverpool! I think Y!A COULD USE SOME SORT OF system by which they give out a suspension e.g. 1 week or 2 weeks etc. to give people a chance! Almost like a yellow card!!

If you read the article it says the judge said he was "baying for blood". So why not do the same to Gary Neville when he ran in front of the Liverpool supporters and started to kiss the badge in front of them? He was "baying for blood" there as well.

Not condoning what the guy did, he's an idiot(the Liverpool fan that is) but its a bit hypocritical.
