Peace Queen Cup


The Peace Queen Cup will be played Oct. 28 to Nov. 4 in the cities of Seoul, Cheonan, Suwon, Changwon, Masan and Gimhae.

Canada will play in Group A and face Italy on Oct. 28, South Korea Oct. 30, and Brazil on Nov. 1. The championship match between the top teams in Group A and Group B will be played Nov. 4.
The tournament will be Canada's final matches before the CONCACAF 2006 women's Gold Cup. Canada will play Nov. 22 in Carson, Calif., in hopes of gaining a berth in the FIFA 2007 women's World Cup.

Not only will Canada make the World CUp but they have a legit chance of winning it. There is lots of talent and depth on this team. SOme of the ladies are still teens and getting better still. These extra games they play are good tune ups for the WC.
