should africa get more places in the worldcup?

look at the teams that qualified from Asia: Saudi Arabia, Kora, Japan, Iran
now lets look at the teams that did NOT qualify from Africa: Egypt,Cameroon, Nigeria, Senegal, Morocco,Algeria!!!!
the 5 African teams i mentioned are all by far stronger than those 4 Asian tea
i think Africa should get at least 2 more places in the World Cup....
The next Wolrd Cup will be in South Africa , i think that in this WC , it's going to be extremely difficult to beat the best black African teams , they are going to be extremely motivated , the wheather and conditions will suit them well , and i think that African sides will go very far during this World Cup
After WC 2010 , i think we will see more African sides in the World Cups , African football is consistently improving since 15 years , in term of formation , many African players play in Europe

First of all it is the continent that has more countries than any other continent...
.. I mean look at how many teams from Europe qualify.... therefore they become psychologically use to it and that helps alot!!!!! And African does not have that chance to feel at ease and use to playing in the world cup to build such a confidence that would def help
So if we had the same amount of countries qualifying to the world cups as Europe then I assume the confidence once in the world cup would be better and the stress would be less!!!
I bet if only 5 teams qualified from Europe, their performance would be the same as the african performance these past years or even worse
As for South America seeing the amount of countries their are I think there is no problem with the number of countries that qualify...

HELL YEAH Africa should have more qualifying teams. You are right about the level of competition stepping up big time in Africa. It will be tough. I was excited for Ghana making the World Cup. We did well for a first appearance.

it all goes by who wins the qualifying matches. if those teams in africa can't play their way into the WC, then why should they be in it? maybe those countries in africa can beat those teams in asia, but if they can, why couldn't they beat the other teams in africa? wouldn't they be able to beat other african teams if they can beat asian teams that did make it to the WC? just some questions for you to think about. these teams earned their way into the WC because they played their best and they succeeded.

No, 5 teams, 4 were eliminated in the first round. 5 is a good number for africa. But, of course, Asia should have less than 3 places, counting the teams of Oceania together. I think South America should have more places, almost all Wester Europe country goes to World Cup and no one care about it, so why people cares so much about 60% of South American teams going to the WC?
