They are the World champs right now so that makes them the best national team...popularity wise and # of peeps that watch they fall behind the EPL, Primera Liga, Bundesliga & Championship, so many people don't think it is the best.

Hmmm. Certainly adds up doesn't it? (Although Kaka is Brazilian of course - but I know what you mean.)































Of course, against this you do have to weigh some of the negatives - corruption does seem rife in the Italian league, the behaviour of Italian supporters does seem pretty bad - I'm not sure how safe I'd feel going to watch a game in Italy.















I also don't like the gamesmanship involved in Italian football - the diving, time-wasting, trying to get opponents booked etc. (Although it seems that this is pretty rife across the world now.)

I would not personally say that they where the best, but they have some amazing players and would be up there but they onlywon the world cup on pens and that isnt really football, is it?
