totti, he is actually a attack midfield instead of a striker.

he announced his retirement this week, declaring that he will not play for international team and he thinks play for roma and Italy national team is too difficult when he reached the 30's and with the leg injury that he is suffering for the past years.

James is right, Totti never played as a striker for the National Team. He always played as a hybrid AM/Trequartista. For Roma though its a different matter. Whatever be, he's my favourite player in the world right now. Forza Roma!!!!
