Iran vs. Iraq?

Iraq just beat Syria 3-0 to advance to the finals of the West Asian Football Federation Championships. The next semifinal is between Iran and Jordan, which Iran will no doubt win. So who thinks Iran vs. Iraq will be a good game? In their group match, they played each other and neither side scored, so its fair to say they're pretty evenly matched. Who do you think will win it?

Iran vs. Iraq?

I'd say Iraq. Even though Iran has nuclear proliferation technology, they still only have 10% the enriched uraniam needed for a single short range missile. Iraq on the other hand still has all the chemical weapons we sold them in Iran/Contra, not to mention our current deployments in the region.

Iraq still has a football team?

I thought they were thrown into a tree shredder by Saddam's son... looks like the new government got straight to the highest priorities of a nation, recruiting new soccer talent.
*sarcasm*

I like football/soccer, but I find it kind of silly to be focused on with the more important issues going on in this world, and especially in Iraq

Iran vs. Iraq?

1 - This is Championships not important so any squads play in this just make them ready to the Asian Cup next month (July 2007)
2 - Iran play by second squad (execept Goalkeeper)
3 - Iraq squad was play (with Syria) without more than 5 basic player (some of them injury)
4 - anyway it's still early to say the final will be between Iraq Vs Iran cuz Jordan squad play between them fans and in home and they beat Lebanon 3 - 0 . just before 2 days so i think they will beat Iran 1 - 0 or 2 - 0 or 2 - 1
5 - in first play Iraq was better than Iran by far so Iran was very lucky to have point in this match
6 - Iraq will beat Iran depends on these facts

anyone here insult these teams and talking far from soccer. must shut up. these ppl idiots.

the aim of football is to bring people together regardless of race and religion. wonder why people can be silly fighting over trivial matters.
