I need some help to write a 250 word essay.?

I already have 181 words but I still don't know what wlse to write. This is what I have to write about:
I have to know when was the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets written and I have to show how the author's life and the history and culture of the time might have influenced how the author wrote the book (the style, the content, the language, etc.). If you feel the author was not influenced by his life or culture, then show me why, through examples. Your essay should be 350--400 words long, or longer if necessary. List your sources.
This is what I wrote so far:
J.K. Rowling started writing the first Harry Potter series in 1990. She came up with harry Potter in a train, because she said she was a daydreamer so she thought of a boy called Harry Potter. In 1990 at London, was best remembered for the Italia ?90 football world cup. The biggest film of the year was ?Home Alone?. In the early 90?s from 1990-1995 many in the UK were affected by the house prices coming to an end. The 90?s saw that drugs were becoming more addictive and dangerous. In 1990 they made the first World Wide Web and the Personal Computer PC. The 90?s was an important decade for the history of televisions. In 1990 a gallon of gas was $1.34 and by 1999 it was $1.22. Americas favorite cartoon family ?The Simpsons? is on Fox for the first time. I?ve learned that in 1990, people for the first time found out about the internet and computer. Another thing happened was that there was an earthquake in Iran and it killed 50,000 people. About 27 events happened in 1990.

I think the fact that Rowling is British and has had lots of exposure to "away" schools and class distinctions made for the types of characters and their relationships in the series. You could get at least 10 more words from this tangent.

Rowling was born in the summer july 31of 1965 at Yate General Hospital in England and grew up in Chepstow, Gwent where she went to Wyedean Comprehensive.
Jo left Chepstow for Exeter University, where she earned a French and Classics degree, and where her course included one year in Paris. As a postgraduate she moved to London to work at Amnesty International, doing research into human rights abuses in Francophone Africa. She started writing the Harry Potter series during a Manchester to London King?s Cross train journey, and during the next five years, outlined the plots for each book and began writing the first novel.

Jo then moved to northern Portugal, where she taught English as a foreign language. She married in October 1992 and gave birth to her daughter Jessica in 1993. When her marriage ended, she returned to the UK to live in Edinburgh, where Harry Potter & the Philosopher?s Stone was eventually completed and in 1996 she received an offer of publication. The following summer the world was introduced to Harry Potter.

talk more about her past as a child now. Where and how did she grow up. Do we know if she was always a daydreamer as a child? Did she like to fantasize? When did her love of writing first start? Did she have other writers that influences her style or motivated her to start writing in the first place.
Definately bring in the British influence.
