John McCain: Would he greater reduce America's image abroad?

McCain is the best candidate, but I do think he would reduce the image.

No matter who wins, other countries won't like us all that much...

Remember--Obama or Clinton would reduce our image to because they'll turn us into weaklings!

By the way, foreign image is not the most important thing to consider in this election. It's about who will take the best care of our country--and that's definitely McCain.

Let me give you the point of view of the people of the United States of America and the allies of the United States of America.

Essentially:

John McCain would improve the image of the United States abroad.

George Bush appears as a bumbling fool.

John McCain's arguments are factually based, well reasearched and well presented.


John McCain is willing to use military force where it is appropriate. That is to be expected of a good American President of the United States.

There are of course some Muslim Terrorists who will never like the United States no matter what we do.

For those who think that we must seek the approval of the Muslim Terrorists of course they will not be happy with John McCain, but normal responsible world leaders will be favorably impressed with John McCain.

And don't let mr. hope and change keep telling you much everyone hates the USA. It simply is not true. I travel the world for my job and most people are very nice and friendly and pro USA. Sure there are a few people mad about the war and few of them like Bush but that is only because they get a lot of propaganda from CNN international and the BBC but most of them like Americans, embrace capitalism and our charitable giving.

What the Republican party could be interested in now is salvaging the American pride and prestige which are at stake in Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran. If Osama is in the net, the image of the US within the country, if not abroad will soar up.

My husband actually likes John McCain, but my gut instinct is this could be very dangerous if he gets elected!

America would not survive another 4 years with the policies put into place by the Bush administration.

This idea of him getting elected scares me to pieces. My husband feels otherwise, and I respect his opinion. But I have relied on my gut instinct all my life (saved my son's life, as well as my own, twice with this intuition) and it's screaming now------that guy cannot get into office.

There was something that struck me funny when I saw McCain on TV and he answered a news reporters annoying question. He basically snapped. We don't need this when he is trying to deal with other hot head type dictators ---not a good mix. Just my opinion.

If you want a president who will decide policies based on what Russian and Iran want. Look at how their citizens live. is that your vision of America. then your candidate is the man.

however, those of us who want someone who will stand strong against their policies.and keep the freedoms that we enjoy, and try to make them better, we have our candidate, and feel that he is the one who could best achieve those goals.

It is impossible to reduce our image any further abroad.....

I don't think dragging the flag thru the streets and mud, and then lighting it on fire, can get much worse.

and surely 4 more years of the current policies, will do NOTHING to enhance our image abroad.

I once respected McCain........thought highly of him.....and strongly feel that ANYONE who wants the commander in chief job, BETTER have some MILITARY experience under the belt........

I still strongly feel that way..........

but you have to be insane or stupid or both, to "stay the course" Bush has set us on.
