actually, this line-up is the same as the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals as i don't see any other Asian nations capable of progressing to the football's biggest stage.

My guess is Australia, Japan, South Korea, Iran and Saudi Arabia. It's not going to be as easy for Australia as some may think. Asia is far more competitive than Oceania obviously. That is the major reason we joined this confederation, better competition. With that also comes more chances to be beaten and with so many set to retire after the Asia Cup, they will have to work for the place. We have some great young talent set to come through and I'm sure they will get there, but nothing should be taken for granted. Of course if Guus returns in 08 and has the squad for 2 years instead of three months who knows what they will achieve.

i was walking by a famous hotel here in melbourne today, i thought to my self sarcastically, maybe Federer or Nadal are staying in this hotel cuz its the closest to the tennis courts, 10 seconds after this thought i see Nadia Petrova walking past me! at first i didn't recognize her, it took me a couple of seconds to remember who she is! lol ... she was with her bf....but i am 95% sure that most of the tennis players are staying in that hotel!
