I do belive that we can get to the quarter finals, if not more. They are the best team in Asia right now and pretty soon will dominate top teams in Europe. With Iran becoming a powerful soccer team again the level of Asian football will increase again.
I want to see Iran face France and beat the hell out them.

They are a solid defensive team! But not sure they can get to or past the quarters with their offense. So time will tell- And we'll see in South Africa

I see that Iran will win. I am a Iranian and am wishing for the same exact thing. I love seeing Mahdavikiah, and Ali Daee, and Ali karimi, and all of the wonderful other players in the World Cups. I hope to see them soon again and win the World Cup for Iran.

I want a Iran mexico rematch, and I believe Iran will whoop every other team.

Iran better beat Mexico and Portugal before you start talking about France. They had the same result as the USA 0-2-1 1Pt 2 GF and 6 GA= -4. Is Iran really that much better then say S.Korea or Japan and what about Australia know that they are in the Asian zone, so Iran is in the top 5 (Asia). Look Iran will most likely qualify, but they will have tough time advancing.
