Does the Iran football (soccer) team suck?

In my opinion, they're not half bad.

Their the best team in Asia and becoming one of the greatest. In future you expect to see Iran comepeting with great teams in the world cup.

How can you say they suck with these players:
-Mahdavikia (Hamburg,Germany)
-Nekounam(osasuna, Spain)
-Hashemian(Hanover,Germany)
-Andranik(Bolton, England)
-Karimi(Bayern Munich, Germany)-although his not Hetsfild's favorite player and after firing Magath he was not guven too much chances to play.
-Rezaei(Livorno, Italy)
-Kazemian(Al Sha'ab, UAE)
and many young talented players who are now playing in Iran Premier league and soon or late become a superstar in Asia.
