Dear IRIFF,

We the fans of Iranian national football see in Ashkan Dejagah the opportunity to strengthen our national team. As you may already know Ashkan Dejagah is the young Iranian born player of Hertha Berlin. In light of his enormous recent success, and Germany's desire to acquire this player, we feel immediate action is necessary to keep him in our camp.

Ashkan Dejagah has also recently express his desire to represent his homeland, and with only 8 months till his 21st birthday, FIFA rules require him to pick his

nationality soon. Algeria made the mistake of not inviting Zinedine Zidane, Bosnia made the mistake of not inviting Zlatan Ibramovic, and Poland missed out on the last world cups strongest duo up front, Klose and Podolski. All of this despite those players interests in representing their mother country.

We fans of Iranian football sincerely hope that our our Iranian Football Federation makes the right decision and invites this blooming talent as soon as possible. With recent statements by the German national teams former coach Michael Skibbe regarding Dejagah?s high prospects of joining Germany?s senior team, it is now imperative more that ever that we act and not deny this ?hamvatan? a chance to represent his country.
