Greece World Cup 2010 Qualifying

This is it paidia.

Our chance to qualify for World Cup 2010 pretty easily thanks to being a pot 1 team now!!!

we are in order of team quality (ranking) here:

1. Greece
2. Switzerland
3. Israel
4. Moldova
5. Latvia
6. Luxembourg

I see Switzerland and Israel being pretty tough teams. Moldova we did have trouble with a bit once, however at the quality we are playing now lately we should win this group with plenty of points to spare.

Funniest detail:
Only one team in the section, Switzerland, has won a FIFA World Cup finals match. We need to win a World Cup game, and then the whole cup like Euro 2004...

Maybe you could argue that Switzerland will be be a more difficult opponent, but actually Israel was in a higher pot than Switzerland. Both the Israelis and the Swiss need to be taken very seriously. And don't forget Latvia has the ability to upset (they qualified for Euro 2004!).

This group is relatively easy though. Greece must do well and go through. I believe Greece will win the group. But first the EURO defence is more important.

agreed...switzerland is a very talented team that shouldn't be taken lightly... Greece should focus on the Eurocup and then take it from there...
