Panionios NFC left-back Nikolaos Spyropoulos has been ruled out of Greece's qualifier in Norway because of a thigh injury. With Michalis Kapsis already missing, coach Otto Rehhagel has called in Atromitos FC central defender Georgios Anatolakis and Panathinaikos FC left-back Panagiotis Fyssas. Centre-backs Traianos Dellas and Sotirios Kyrgiakos have also been training alone as they attempt to regain fitness for next Wednesday's Group C fixture in Oslo.

The Greeks had a two-point advantage over their rivals before kick-off and Sotiris Kyrgiakos has put them in front today, nodding the ball in after Christos Patsatzoglou had headed Georgios Karagounis' corner into his path.

15' It only takes Norway six minutes to get back on level terms as John Arne Riise's floated corner is met by John Carew - the tall striker heading into the net past Konstantinos Chalkias.

29' On the half-hour Greece regain the advantage and once again Kyrgiakos finds the net, slotting the ball in right-footed from a rebound after Hakon Opdal had kept out his initial header.
