Was it just me, or were the Refs in the Pens-Flyers game horrible last night?

Hey when you get two slow a$$ teams on the ice like the Pens and the Flyers your going to get a lot of penalties!!! Hooking, slashing, tripping. Man the East is slowwwwww. And as far as the officiating go's the refs are NOT prefect, they can only call what they see. I am a wings fan but that call against Homer in game 4 could have gone either way. I was at the game against Anaheim when they called off a similar goal in the regular season. That's part of the mystique in hockey NO instant replay!!!! It is what it is.. And that's part of the game. Shut up and take it like a man or woman.. Enough already with all this "No Fair No Fair my team SUCKED last night BUT lost because of the REFS".

I am a Pens fan, and yes alot of calls went agains us. But comming from a fan of hockey's opinion, not just a Pens fan, it was a real poorly ref'd gamed. They let it get out of hand, there were constant cheap shots and skirmishes and too many little fights. The Flyers got burned on a few calls too. The game was actually boring and not fun to watch because of the refs. As a hockey fan, it was terrible. But oh well, back in the Burgh Tuesday...LETS GO PENS!!

is it just me or is all this whining annoying as $#!t ???? did you see how many bad calls we had to get through in our first 2 series?? the flyers came out hard in the 1st and i think they deserved the win. you dont know how the game would have went if those calls werent made. the pens goals wouldnt have definately happened. you guys need to suck it up. bad calls happen.

You got it all wrong. The Pens threw that game just like they threw the last regular season game.

The Pens ownership wanted the Pens to play another game at home so they could make more money.

Don't be whiny like all the Flyers fans.

But by posting this question aren't you being just like the Senator, Ranger, and Flyers fans? Stop complaining about the Refs. The Pens lost because the Flyers owned them in first period. You're team is still up three games to one and is going to the Stanley Cup finals, so just relax, sit back and stop whining like the fans you apparently don't want to be like. And I didn't see Briere dive once but if he did I guess he is taking notice to Malkin's play of late because it seems every time you get near this guy he hits the ice.

Joe B - LMAO... I can't believe I missed that. But anyway while we are giving out congradulations, I would like to congradulate the Flyers on a big win. It looks like the Pittsburgh school systems aren't that much better than Philadelphia's after all.
