What did your team do this season, to make you think they are capable of better, next year ?

My own team, Rangers, surpassed even the most optimistic fans' expectation. They reached 3 cup finals, and won two. They took Sellick to the LAST match of the league. At a fraction of the cost of the Sellick squad. I have complete confidence in Walter Smith. As does Sir David Murray, who will give him a fortune to spend in the summer. Walter has turned around many a players fortunes, (Gazza, Laudrup, Hutton etc), and is without a doubt, a fantastic man-manager. The league don't lie. We were ahead of Sellick for the vast majority of the season, and could easily have pipped them to the post, as they did to us. And already folk are dreaming of 4 in a row. (Snigger).

I have complete faith in Walter, and the fantastic advances made this season will continue. Rangers will once again take their place as the dominant force in Scottish football.

Do the thousands of Sellick fans who called for Strachan's head for most of the season, now want him to stay ?

Completely delighted as well with our team,
although we lost the league, i still think many Celtic fans would rather be in our position than theirs, (even if not saying so)
reaching a european cup final, and winning two cups whilst having to play over 60 matches is unbelievable.
Also, if you remember our Le Guen team, who were out of the league before Xmas,
and think of what Walter has done with the team in the short space of time is phenomenal.
I just hope Sir Davie Boy gives us enough money this summer to buy replacements for Broadfoot, Papac and a good striker.
Along with securing Steven Davis' signature.
King Cuellar is a revelation to Rangers Football Club, and has also said he wants to end his career at Ibrox. He's 27!
Roll on the start of next season. Because the SPL's coming home to Ibrox


p.s I would like to see all the Celtic fans calling for Strachan's head at Xmas come out and apologize to him. Because he's also done well recovering from that defecit to win the league.

They won the league having been written off earlier in the season. We has a bit of a sticky patch mid season, but had a brilliant end , winning all seven of our last games. Yes, you're right the league don't lie, the best team won (snigger). I've always had faith in Strachan, and believe that he'll do even better next season, particularly in Europe where we go straight into the group stages. But I'm counting no chickens, four in a row would be brilliant, but Rangers had a belter of a season themselves, and could have easily have been celebrating a treble.

I'm sure when he came back he had a plan with DM which would probably have been something along the lines of getting the SPL trophy back in 3 years. Coming so close in his first year is I suspect, beyond his wildest plans, so I suspect DM and Wattie will be re-evaluating the long term plan. He has a solid base to work from but he still needs 5 or 6 quality players to come in. 2 strikers, 2 midfielders and 2 defenders.
Finding 2 quality keepers. Pocketing 10 mill for a right back. Being the top goalscorers in Scotland, whilst being slagged for not attacking!!!!!! and knowing that we have the framework in place to go forward and dominate Scottish football the way he did last time he was manager.

i am delighted with what rangers have done this season..admittedly gutted about the league but Walter has done wonders and i honestly think we can only go from strength to strength..depending on who he signs, i honestly hope its not Kenny, just don't think he's good enough..compared to the last couple of seasons we have done well and overall I'm one pleased bluenose
